Abstract

The article deals with the current state of criminal liability for illigal trafficking of firearms, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices provided for the initial citation in the current Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan and social conditionality of introducting amendments and additions to these articles over the past 15 years. A comparative analysis of the relevant provisions of the Criminal Code of the Uzbek SSR in 1960 and the provisions of the current Criminal Code of the Republic of Uzbekistan in the field of countering illegal firearms, ammunition, explosives or explosive devices is carried out. As well as the problems were set that arise in the practical application of these norms and they should be solved in the future from a scientific point of view.
