Abstract
In the present article, the operating international legal system of prevention of illicit trafficking in cultural values within the international cultural law is investigated. In article underwent the analysis, as the existing international treaties in the field of prevention of illicit trafficking in cultural values, as well as norms of the soft right are recommendations and resolutions of the international organizations. Based on the carried-out analysis a number of measures for improvement of the legislation of the Republic of Uzbekistan on culture are put forward.
