Abstract
In this article, the author talks about the concept of violence against children, its types, and when work began to protect the rights and freedoms of children. In addition, the adopted international legal acts on limiting violence against children are analyzed in chronological order. The theories of scientists and activists who have contributed to the fight against violence against children will also be examined. In addition, mechanisms for protecting children from violence in the Republic of Uzbekistan will be discussed.
