Abstract

In recent years, the Republic of Uzbekistan has taken effective institutional and legal measures to combat all forms of corruption. Nevertheless, the corruption perception index in our country remains high. The article analyzes petty corruption as one of the most common types of corruption, forms, types and prevalence of everyday corruption, as well as offers suggestions for its elimination. Petty corruption includes, for example, regular agreements between citizens and government officials (in the health care and education system, registration, conscription, public service, benefits and allowances, the judiciary, etc.).
