Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive analysis of the theoretical and legal foundations, substantive content, and contemporary development trends of the legal awareness activities carried out by justice bodies and institutions. The study highlights the role of legal awareness in enhancing legal consciousness and legal culture, fostering respect for the rule of law among citizens, preventing legal violations, and ensuring effective legal communication between the state and society. Furthermore, it examines the ongoing reforms in the field of legal awareness in the Republic of Uzbekistan, analyzes the institutional powers and practical activities of justice bodies, and provides a scholarly assessment of the existing challenges and their underlying causes. The author explores traditional, digital, and targeted forms of legal awareness, with particular emphasis on the prospects of applying modern information and communication technologies, digital platforms, and artificial intelligence. Drawing upon international best practices, the article proposes effective mechanisms for improving the legal awareness system, including the development of a National Concept of Legal Awareness, the implementation of the “Law in Plain Language” principle, the integration of artificial intelligence technologies into legal awareness activities, and the establishment of performance evaluation indicators. The findings offer scientific and practical recommendations aimed at improving the activities of justice bodies, strengthening the legal culture and legal engagement of citizens, and ensuring the effective implementation of the rule of law. The study substantiates the strategic importance of legal awareness activities as a key instrument for implementing the state's legal policy.
