Abstract
The article examines the international legal status, privileges, and immunities of the European Union Delegation in the Republic of Uzbekistan, established in 2011. It highlights the delegation's role in fostering EU-Uzbekistan relations, its functions, and the legal framework governing its operations. The analysis focuses on the bilateral agreements granting diplomatic immunities and privileges to the delegation, referencing the 1961 Vienna Convention on Diplomatic Relations. The article underscores the functional nature of immunities for international organizations and their representative offices, emphasizing their importance in achieving organizational goals.
