Abstract
The article examines the psychological aspects of forensic examination, including the factors and the subject of studying the psychological aspects of forensic examination, the study of the psychological aspects of this activity - spectral and subjective areas, the main features of the cognitive and communicative activities of the forensic examination, the issues of explaining the psychology of the cognitive activity of a forensic expert through several structures (hierarchical, phased and heuristic), the positive impact of knowledge and skills in solving heuristic problems in the cognitive and communicative spheres on the future professional development of a forensic expert.
